My Sweet Husband!

So, my last blog was me b!tching about Ryan traveling too much. Neither of us like it, but it's required for his job. Tough beans.

Anyway, a week or so ago I had been telling Ryan how I wish I could justify spending the money to get a manicure & pedicure before our San Francisco honeymoon next week. I figured it fell on deaf ears.

Well, Monday when I got home from work Ryan was out running last minute errands for his trip. I walked into the bed room, and on the bed there were two boxes of candy [one Russell Stover's, one big *Reese's heart] AND a gift certificate to my nail spa!! On the envelope he wrote "Sorry I've been gone so much. Enjoy a mani & pedi for our honeymoon. I love you! Your Husband - Ryan". And, this won't surprise a lot of you, I totally burst into tears!! I thought it was so thoughtful of him AND it meant he really was listening to me. Haha.

He's so sweet :)

*Disclaimer - I DID check the recall list to be sure Reese's do not contain salmonella. The Hershey's website says : No products made by The Hershey Company, including items and brands in the iconic Reese's franchise, are affected by the recall of items produced by the Peanut Corporation of America. Hershey does not purchase any peanut butter, peanuts or peanut products from the Peanut Corporation of America. Peanut butter for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups is made in Hershey facilities under the most stringent safety and quality standards.
All of our products with peanuts or peanut butter are safe to consume, including Hershey's, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Reese's Big Cup, Reese's Fast Break, Reese's Crispy Crunchy, Reese's Whipps, Reese's Sticks, Reese's Clusters, Reese's Pieces, Nutrageous, Hershey's Kisses with Peanut Butter, Hershey's Miniatures, Mr. Goodbar, Payday, Take 5 and 5th Avenue. This includes all seasonal treats and items sold to other food companies and used as ingredients in other products.
Cool. I ate some last night and live to blog another day. ;)

xoxo - Rach
